Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a type of accommodation for people who have extreme functional impairments or require a high level of support and we will guarantee to provide a safe and supportive home environment for them.
Community Activities
we are proud to offer community participation to empower our participants to reach new goals. Our experienced support coordinators will get to know the participant and then identify skills and areas of interest to offer the most holistic community support.
Assist with Personal Activities
This Service supports participants in performing personal activities including attending events, meal preparation, dressing and grooming, personal hygiene, getting around the house, household tasks and much more. Our team can assist you and supervise in these activities to help participants to live as independently as possible.
Home Modification
Home modifications are alterations to a participant's home's construction, layout, or fittings that allow them to securely enter it and move around comfortably in areas they commonly use. Sarah Helping Hands provides NDIS Home Modifications as well as designing and delivering accessible houses to NDIS customers.
Shared Living/Daily Tasks
we understand that every person with a disability is different and that means that each person will have different needs and requirements. So, we provide a unique and tailored experience to help each, and every person feel more independent and learn new skills.
Household Tasks
Sarah helping hands has a solution for all the little – and not so little – tasks that need to be done on daily basis like, cleaning your house, preparing meals for you, taking care of your groceries.
Assistance with Travel
You don’t have to be confined to your home. Sarah Helping Hands has Independent Support Workers who will from booking and packing to going with you on your travels, you can do those exciting things and know you’ll be beautifully looked after.
Development of Life Skills
Sarah Helping Hands puts emphasis on training and development activities undertaken by the participant or their carer to enhance their ability to live as independently as possible.
